Fulham and West Ham United have ‘requested information’ from Roma on full-back Bryan Reynolds, as they eye up a possible transfer this summer.
That’s according to La Repubblica, relayed by Pianeta Roma, who say the American could sold as Roma look to raise funds to balance their books.
The newspaper explains that Reynolds, who was signed from FC Dallas for €7m, is one of the players in the current squad with a ‘for sale’ sign on his back.
That’s because Roma have a desperate need to balance the books before they can do their own transfer business and Reynolds has suitors following a good season on loan at KVC Westerlo.
His tally of one goal and five assists has ‘attracted the interest’ of clubs around Europe, with Fulham and West Ham both keen in the Premier League. Indeed, they have ‘already requested information’ about a deal.
They’ve been met with a positive response from Roma, who are happy to let the defender go so long as they can guarantee they get their money back.
That means they are open to a loan deal if that’s what it takes to get rid, but it would have to be a ‘definitive operation’ that ensures a €7m payment somewhere, perhaps in an obligation to buy.
Whether Fulham or West Ham are willing to do agree to that isn’t mentioned but that’s the deal Roma want if a move is to happen.
