Bayern Munich have reportedly improved their offer for Fulham star João Palhinha.
According to Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Bundesliga side are now putting €45m on the table.
Fulham, however, have reportedly turned down the bid, and the clubs still struggle to find an agreement.
This isn’t the end, with Plettenberg making it clear that the door ‘is not yet closed’ and the negotiations are ‘ongoing’. However, Bayern Munich are already said to be exploring other options, to at least make sure they won’t spend the summer without signing a big reinforcement for midfield.
This time, it isn’t said how much Fulham want to let him go. The Portugal international is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €55m, and it would be no surprise if the Whites demand even more than that. The problem is that Bayern seem to be slowly reaching their limit.
