Last week, Calciomercato stated Samuel Iling-Junior is ‘very much liked’ by Tottenham Hotspur. The north London club aren’t the only team chasing the Juventus player and are now joined by Fulham.
That’s at least what Tuttosport are reporting, and they also provide the Serie A side’s stance on the 20-year-old.
It’s claimed two London clubs, Tottenham and Fulham, have set their sights on the winger, who has been mainly used as a left wing-back this season.
Spurs have been following the player for several months and Fulham’s inclusion in the transfer race has been as recent as a few weeks ago.
Last month, Iling-Junior scored a brace in England U21’s 7-0 win over Luxembourg, while operating as a left-back. His performance for the Young Lions has ‘enchanted’ Fulham, who have been following him carefully since then.
Tuttosport state the Old Lady are waiting for both Tottenham and Fulham to convert their interest into concrete offers. Juve are looking to get rid of players who aren’t part of their future plans and Iling-Junior belongs to this category.
Iling-Junior’s deal lasts until 2025 and negotiations for a renewal haven’t progressed well. Therefore, Tuttosport state the Turin club can sell him, if there’s a ‘good offer’ of ‘at least €15m’ in the summer.
