Fulham are reportedly one of the clubs in the race for Borussia Mönchengladbach fullback Joe Scally.
The information is brought by Tom Bogert, an MLS insider from Bleacher Report.
It’s claimed that Fulham are among a ‘handful of clubs’ from the Premier League who are keen on landing the 20-year-old this summer.
For now, there’s no information on how much Mönchengladbach are demanding to let the player go, or even how much the Whites would like to put on the table for the signing.
Scally joined the Bundesliga side on a €1.8m move from MLS club New York City FC in 2021. He increasingly gained importance at Mönchengladbach, having 25 appearances for the club this season so far, and with that, his market value has gone up as well.
He’s currently valued by Transfemrarkt at €12m, and that has only been growing in the past few months.
Since he’s also protected with a contract until 2026, that’s another reason for the German club to play hardball in the talks.
So Fulham better be prepared for the task, especially because other Premier League sides are set to compete for the signing.
