Valencia welcome Sevilla on Friday, with the former looking a lot safer from relegation after their shock victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu last weekend.

Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili was seen as the hero for Valencia, with a penalty save and all round brilliant performance, which saw the local media tell supporters to make sure they enjoy him before he leaves fo Liverpool.

Valenica manager Carlos Corberán has also been receiving some praise, after a mixed start since his arrival from West Bromwich Albion earlier this season. Spanish newspaper AS have taken a look at the upcoming clash, and explain how Sevilla sporting director Víctor Orta tried to take Corberán from West Brom to Leeds United.

Leeds United had just parted ways with Jesse Marsch, and it was considered Corberán knew enough about the club, and previous manager Marcelo Bielsa, to hit the ground running.

However, West Brom had already started talks with Corberán about securing him to a better deal, and with that in the works it managed to thwart Orta and Leeds United.

Now the pair will meet again on Friday.
