Fulham manager Marco Silva is honoured by the interest from Al-Hilal but has rejected their proposal to him for him.

That’s according to Record, who report that the Fulham boss wants to continue working in England and that is the message he has conveyed to the Saudi Arabian club.

Al-Hilal had made Silva their priority target to replace Jorge Jesus and various ‘invitations’ were sent to him. Silva feels honoured by the interest but wants to remain in England.

He is also waiting to see what happens elsewhere. He could be in the running for the Tottenham job, with him regularly named as an option for the role should Ange Postecoglou depart as expected this summer.

Thus, he has politely declined the proposals sent by Al-Hilal to date. Their last one saw a ‘significant increase’ in what was offered to the Fulham boss. It is unclear whether Al-Hilal will make a final attempt to convince him or move their attention elsewhere.

But it’s good news for Fulham, at least in the short-term, with Silva intending to stay at Craven Cottage, where his current deal runs until June 2026.
