Tuesday’s edition of L’Equipe reports the Bundesliga is currently being taken over by Kolomania.
Randal Kolo Muani has played 27 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt so far this season, and during that time he’s contributed 12 goals and 13 assists.
The 24-year-old has a contract lasting until 2027, and L’Equipe report he’s been ‘requested’ by Manchester United and Liverpool.
Given it’s Erik ten Hag’s side who are thought to be likelier to recruit a striker in the summer, that’s perhaps where the concentration could be.
L’Equipe state Frankfurt had initially been wanting a transfer fee of around €80m, but given their player’s performances things have changed.
The Bundesliga side have ‘got greedy’ and, perhaps seeing the prices being asked elsewhere, the French newspaper say they now want €100m.
That feels a bit over the top, even for Manchester United, and there’s every possibility Frankfurt will have to readjust their financial ambitions ahead of the window.
Eintracht Frankfurt signed Kolo Muani on a free transfer last summer, so everything they bring in is profit.
