Mancheester City manager Pep Guardiola dropped Sergio Aguero for the match against Barcelona, and a lot has been made out about this in the media.
Reports in the English media claim the Argentine could be set to leave Manchester City, and Paris-Saint Germain may be his next destination.
There are also claims that Guardiola wants Aguero to contribute more on the pitch, and that could also put his future at the club in doubt.
However, reports linking him with a move to Paris-Saint Germain have been dismissed by Le Parisien journalist Frederic Gouaillard.
Gouaillard has been conducting a web chat on Le Parisien’s website, and was asked about Aguero.
The French journalist insists there’s no truth in the reports linking Aguero to Paris-Saint Germain, and that he doesn’t expect Manchester City to sell him.
He said: “For now, it is just a rumour, and I do not see Manchester City, the Premier League leader, to part ways with Aguero now.”
Aguero has scored 11 goals already this season, and has a contract until 2019 with Manchester City.
