Hull City have been linked with a move for Lyon’s Nicolas N’Koulou ahead of the transfer deadline tonight.
The Cameroon international has struggled to get regular playing time at the Ligue 1 club this season, but reports suggest he is reluctant to leave.
According to a latest report from L’Equipe, N’Koulou has rejected the opportunity to sign for the Premier League club.
However, Hull City aren’t willing to give up on the 26-year-old so easily, but L’Equipe believe it’d be very difficult for them to convince the player.
Marseille are also reportedly keen on signing N’Koulou, but his involvement in the African Cup of Nations could make things a little complicated. L’Equipe say Hull City have other alternatives in mind, and are working on that, but haven’t abandoned the idea of signing the Lyon defender.
N’Koulou has made only 7 league appearances this season, and has a contract until 2020 at Lyon.
