On last summer’s deadline day, AC Milan allowed Divock Origi and Fodé Ballo-Touré to join Nottingham Forest and Fulham respectively on loan deals.

Marco Silva’s side took the defender on a dry loan deal while Nottingham Forest have an option to make the 28-year-old’s stay permanent for €4.5m.

Nottingham Forest and Fulham aren’t planning to retain Origi and the 27-year-old left-back beyond this season, according to Calciomercato.

The striker has clocked in 623 minutes from 17 games for Nuno Espírito Santo’s side, managing a goal and an assist in the process.

Meanwhile, Ballo-Touré has been restricted to just over 200 minutes from seven games and has made only one appearance for Fulham this year.

Taking their performances for the two English clubs into account, the report doesn’t hesitate to call the duo flops.

It’s clear that Nuno Espírito Santo’s side and Fulham’s respective decisions to bet on Origi and the Senegal international hasn’t worked out.

The duo’s situations at the Premier League sides have left the Rossoneri worried because they aren’t included in their future plans. Therefore, Milan have to find solutions for both the Belgium international and Ballo-Touré in the summer.
