Hull City midfielder Seb Larsson has told the Swedish media it’s flattering to be receiving interest from other clubs, after being linked with a move to IFK Goteborg.

The Swede’s contract with Hull City expires in the summer, and there’s a strong possibility he could return to his home country.

Afonbladet have reported IFK sporting director Mats Gren will travel to England within the next 24 hours to hold talks with the Hull City star. Larsson has previously been linked with AIK and Djurgården, with reports he’s already held talks with the two Stockholm clubs.

Larsson was contacted by Afonbladet to get his reaction on IFK’s interest: “I can’t comment, with respect to the clubs, who I’ve met or who I’m talking to. But it’s flattering that many show an interest in me.”

Previous claims in the Swedish press suggested Larsson would prefer a move to a Stockholm club if he were to return to Sweden in the summer.

This would put AIK and Djurgården in pole position ahead of IFK, but there have been reports this week Hull City have made an offer to the player.
