The future of Brighton & Hove Albion star Alexis Mac Allister is about to be discussed, the Argentine media says.
Journalist Gaston Edul reports on Twitter that the midfielder’s father is travelling to England to ‘decide his future’.
The story claims Mac Allister is probably leaving Brighton in the summer, as he already has options on the table.
Mac Allister took a while to adapt to the Premier League, but once he did he soon stood out. First with Brighton, and then with Argentina, where he had a great performances in their campaign for the World Cup title.
That’s why, despite having cost the Seagulls only €8m, he’s now valued by Transfermarkt at €42m, and the club could certainly negotiate for more with other Premier League sides.
His father is well known in Argentine football, having played for the likes of Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors and Racing, and will certainly use some of his experience to help his son find the best destination.
