Arsenal and Chelsea target Benjamin Šeško is ‘becoming more and more expensive’, with his current value rapidly getting closer to the value of his release clause.

That’s according to BILD, who say the RB Leipzig striker has seen his value increase by another €10m since his last valuation in March.

The newspaper explains that ‘half of Europe’ is currently chasing the RB Leipzig striker, but specifically names Chelsea, AC Milan and Arsenal as his suitors.

The 20-year-old has just enjoyed a superb season in Leipzig in which he managed 18 goals and two assists in 42 games in all competitions despite not being a regular in the team and only featuring in 50% of the available minutes in the Bundesliga.

That’s led to an increased interest in him, and the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea have shown an interest as they search for the strikers that their squads need.

Their opportunity to get him may come next month, though, with the striker’s current contract including a €65m release clause that expires at the end of June. After that point, Leipzig can demand what they want.

They’re already working on a new deal for the striker with a hefty wage increase as they know they have a potential diamond on their hands, whose value is rapidly approaching the value of that release clause.

BILD explain that the Slovenian is ‘becoming more and more valuable’, with the latest calculation at Transfermarkt putting him at €50m, a €10m increase from the last time he was valued in March.

That’s likely to keep increasing, and perhaps make that €65m release clause look far more attractive next month.
