Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma has returned to England with his agent Michael Moses as he continues to be linked with a move to Everton.
That’s according to Cadena SER, who say Danjuma is continuing to look for a way out of Villarreal even if it is on loan.
Danjuma has been heavily linked with a move back to England over the last few weeks, with it explained that Villarreal are open to letting him go as they seek to balance the budget this month.
Everton are one of the clubs who are interested in him, with Frank Lampard and his team desperate to add attacking players to their squad in this window.
A report two days ago explained that the Toffees were showing the ‘most interest’ in the Netherlands forward and his agent later confirmed negotiations are underway.
Cadena SER follow that up today, stating that after a brief return to Spain following a trip to London, Danjuma has now returned to England with his agent Michael Moses.
He is ‘still looking for a way out’ of Villarreal before the end of this month, even if it is a loan move, and because of this he has not trained with the Spanish club this week and won’t be available to play against Real Madrid on Thursday.
They make no mention of any clubs being interested or close to a deal but La Razon state that it would be Everton he is joining.
That would be a loan deal but the Blues would ‘have an option’ to buy Danjuma at the end of it. What has not been made clear, for now, is the amount they would pay or whether the clause will be compulsory.
Either way, Danjuma is keen on a move back to England and is back in the country looking to secure that, which sounds like good news for those interested in him.
