As is usually the case, Everton midfielder James Rodriguez is making plenty of headlines this summer.
The Colombian star is enjoying a rest after being dropped by his country for the Copa America, with the management deeming him too unfit to take part.
As you’ll be aware by now, it’s something the Everton man didn’t take well, rallying against the claims and essentially starting a public war of words with his country in the process.
There’s been weeks of back and forth on that front, with every man and his dog sharing their opinion on Rodriguez, mostly in a negative manner.
In the meantime, Rodriguez has been enjoying downtime, travelling around America and living life to the full, completely ignoring how Colombia are getting on in the Copa America in the process.
They label the Everton star a ‘spoiled brat’ who ‘can’t get enough of the party’ in Miami and New York this summer.
They say his ‘partying’ in the US doesn’t stop and believe it’s clear that he ‘doesn’t care’ that his country no longer wants him.
Rodriguez, according to them, is ‘tired of training’ and is instead spending his summer partying and ‘sitting for days’ in front of the TV, presumably playing video games on Twitch.
‘It matters little or nothing to him’ that his country have washed his hands of him, and his teammates don’t really care either as far as they’re concerned.
James, say the website, is a ‘graceless conqueror’ who is more interested in taking photos with various celebrities on his holidays and drinking whisky than talking about his nation and showing his support.
As far as they’re concerned, all of Colombia is waiting to see where he’ll end up this summer amid talk of a departure from Everton.
Whether they’ll actually care is another matter, with Rodriguez nothing more than a ‘spoiled child’ who ‘can’t get enough of partying and leisure’.
