Everton are in the picture to sign Hellas Verona’s Jackson Tchatchoua this summer.
The right-back initially joined the Serie A side on a loan deal from Belgian side Charleroi in August 2023 and his stay has already been made permanent.
Earlier this month, TuttoMercatoWeb stated Everton are chasing the 22-year-old. They also said the Italian club are looking to make a profit and sell him for around €8m in this window.
L’Arena, relayed by Calcio Hellas, backs up Everton’s interest and then provides more on their plan to sign the player.
It’s claimed Sean Dyche’s side are ‘ready to buy’ the Cameroon international this summer. The report makes no mention of the fee they are willing to offer, but they do state that the Italian club will find it ‘difficult to resist’ the offers they could receive for the player.
As well as the Toffees, West Ham United have shown interest in the fullback. His deal lasts until 2027 and Transfermarkt values him around €4m.
Earlier report from TMW stated that Hellas Verona are looking to collect around €8m and if Everton or another club were to offer that figure, they would be able to sign Tchatchoua.
