Everton forward Cenk Tosun was in the stands on Monday night to watch his former club Besiktas defeat Alanyaspor at the Vodafone Arena.
This has led to speculation the Istanbul club want to re-sign the Everton player, and Sporx claim Besiktas are working hard to get a loan deal for the Turkey international.
It’s reported if Everton decide to part ways with the 27 year old, the Super Lig club will look to open transfer talks with the Premier League side once the season ends in Turkey.
However, Sporx claim Everton will only allow Tosun to leave on a permanent transfer and that the Merseyside club could look to sell him to another Premier League club this summer.
This may be the preferred choice for the attacker after he recently stated he wasn’t interested in a return to Turkey at this stage of his career.
Tousn spent the majority of last season on the bench but he did score in the last Premier League game against Tottenham at the weekend.
The player is under contracted at Goodison Park until June 2022.
