Everton striker Cenk Tosun has spoken to the Turkish media about the Premier League title race and has backed Manchester City over Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s men currently top the Premier League table, but Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand on their title rivals.
Speaking to Fanatik, the Everton player was asked if Manchester City or Liverpool would come out on top at the end of the season: “We want to pick up maximum points to finish the league in the highest position. We are a very good team and the Premier League is the best league in the world.
“The title race will go down to the wire. My favourite is Manchester City. They are more experienced.”
With just a handful of games left this season it seems the title race will go to the wire, with a defining period coming up for City.
The Premier League champions face Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend following their Champions League elimination at the hands of the London club.
The Blues then have to travel to Old Trafford next week to face local rivals Manchester United, with the Reds still looking to secure a Champions League place for next season.
Liverpool face a tricky away visit to Cardiff City on Sunday, with the Welsh club in a relegation fight.
