Sabah report Galatasaray are still working hard to get a redemption clause for Henry Onyekuru but Everton want a significant transfer fee implemented into the agreement.

The Nigerian has made a stunning start to his Turkish Super Lig career and he scored the only goal during Galatasaray’s win over Goztepe last weekend.

Onyekuru has impressed Fatih Terim and the Galatasaray manager is likely to involve the Everton loanee more going forward.

However, Takvim say Everton have rejected Galatasaray’s offer as they are insisting on a redemption clause of €25m.

The Turkish newspaper also states Everton are not looking to sell Onyekuru for a reduced fee as the Merseyside club are hoping the youngster will finally be granted a work permit to play in England. Last season he was loaned to Belgian side Anderlecht due to this issue.

According to Sabah, Everton could see Onyekuru in their plans for next season if he can get his work permit.
