Earlier this year, AS stated Everton had made contact for UD Almería’s Largie Ramazani in the winter market but no deal took shape.
The winger is still in the Toffees’ sights for the summer. That’s at least what Fichajes.net are reporting and they add he’s ‘attracted’ by the prospect of moving to the Premier League.
Everton are looking to sign him to expand Sean Dyche’s options in attack next season. Their interest reflects the potential they see in the Belgian, who spent time in England at Manchester United’s academy.
An option to return to England could provide the 22-year-old with an opportunity to showcase his talent and also play an ‘important role’ at Everton.
A potential deal would depend on how the negotiations would take place between the two clubs and also where Dyche’s side finish this season. They are 17th in the table, a point ahead of 18th placed Leeds United.
Almería are referring to the player’s release clause. This is a ‘potential hurdle’ for Everton because it would be a ‘challenge’ for them to pay €40m for him. It remains to be seen if they are ready to lower the asking price to sanction Ramazani’s sale in the summer.
Ramazani has three goals and an assist from 30 league games this season.
