Everton may have just announced the signing of Jack Harrison from Leeds United, but that won’t stop them from chasing another Whites player for the same position.

According to a fresh story from Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, the Toffees continue to be interested in Wilfried Gnonto.

It’s claimed that despite Harrison’s arrival, Everton boss Sean Dyche wants one more winger added to the squad.

Leeds United reportedly made it ‘clear’ that Gnonto is not on the market, but that’s actually finding some resistance from the player himself.

With the player not used in either of the Whites’ last two games, it’s claimed that ‘he wants to leave’ and already made it known.

Just last week, we covered reports from Italy which claimed that despite the big interest in Gnonto, Leeds were ‘standing firm’.

It was claimed the Whites were not considering his sale, and would only think about a loan in the final days of the transfer window.

Everton now undoubtedly have an open communication channel with Leeds, and with the player trying to force his way out, maybe that’s another loan deal on the way.
