The Italian media today reveals Everton’s interest in Hellas Verona fullback Jackson Tchatchoua.
TuttoMercatoWeb shares a story claiming there’s a chance for the Serie A side to make a ‘masterpiece sale’ with the 22-year-old.
The reason for that is Hellas Verona have just made Tchatchoua’s purchase official. He arrived at the club last summer, on loan from R Charleroi SC, and was now bought for just €3m.
The Italian club now have a chance to make a big profit, as Everton have ‘set their sights’ on him and the price for his sale is set at €8m.
For now, TuttoMercatoWeb don’t give any details on whether the Toffees have already started contacts for the transfer, or even if they’ve placed a bid.
What is well known is that Everton are in need of a new right-back and should be in the market for one.
Tchatchoua’s year in Serie A was enough for Hellas Verona to invest in his stay and his progress is what will have attracted the Toffees’ attention towards him.
Now we shall see how that pursuit goes, with an €8m deal looking like it would work for everyone.
