West Ham United and Everton are interested in Genoa defender Koni de Winter, but Juventus could threaten their move in the summer.

The Belgian has been linked with a host of other clubs in the last few weeks but TuttoJuve today have revealed that the Bianconeri are now pondering the idea of bringing him back to Turin, two years after initially loaning him out to Genoa.

Both West Ham and Everton are ‘pushing’ for the 22-year-old and Italian giants Napoli, AS Roma, Inter Milan and AC Milan are also potential candidates.

Napoli are leading the race, but Juventus are seriously considering signing De Winter and they could have an advantage in the scenario.

While West Ham and Everton will have to pay €25m plus bonuses for the Belgium international, Juve will only have to pay a fee of around €15m.

That is because the Old Lady have a resale clause of 25% in De Winter’s Genoa contract and as of now, the player would not reject the idea of a return to Turin.

It would require something rather quick or dramatic from West Ham and Everton, especially if Juventus decide to get serious in the race.
