It appears some good news has come Manchester United’s way in their chase for a new striker, and it involves Paris Saint-Germain.

Much like the Red Devils, the Ligue 1 side are looking for a new goalscorer this summer to help out Kylian Mbappé, and names such as those of Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane have been linked with a move to France’s capital.

Those two names are often also linked with Manchester United, and Foot Mercato are the ones bringing the news about the Nigeria international on Tuesday.

They claim that despite an agreement almost being found between Luis Campos and Osimhen’s agent (Roberto Calenda), the player himself is standing in the way.

That’s because a move to Paris Saint-Germain isn’t, ‘at this moment in time’, the player’s ‘priority’.

In his mind, ‘the attraction of the Premier League is real’, and having already played in Ligue 1 with Lille, he would also favour Bayern Munich over Christophe Galtier’s side.

The order is therefore England as a ‘priority’, followed by Bavaria and finally Paris, which is a welcome boost to Manchester United, who are themselves named as an interested party by the French website for the €150m valued striker.
