Manchester United have been linked with a move for Adrien Rabiot for several years, and this summer is no different.

The Frenchman has been one of Juventus’ better players this season and with a contract expiring at the end of June, he’s able to leave the Turin club as a free agent.

Whilst there’s been efforts for a renewal, there’s also been repeated claims of interest from elsewhere, with Manchester United one of the clubs to have been linked with him the most.

Monday’s edition of L’Equipe reports the Red Devils have been pushing for Rabiot, trying to take advantage of his free agent status.

It’s even stated Erik ten Hag has spoken to the France international in recent weeks, to try and convince him to choose a move to Old Trafford.

L’Equipe state Rabiot is having one of the best seasons of his career, and that will partly be behind the reason Ten Hag is so keen.

Manchester United are said to want to get a deal finalised as soon as possible, with their manager trying to plan his squad for next season.
