Hatem Ben Arfa has been left stranded at Paris-Saint Germain by Unai Emery, and reports claim he could be on his way out in January.
The 29-year-old has been left out of the squad for the last four games, and the former Newcastle star has been linked with a reunion with Claude Puel at Southampton, whilst Leicester City are also reportedly keen on signing him.
Someone claimed to be in Ben Arfa’s entourage but wanted to remain anonymous, has been speaking to French website L’Express on his future at Paris-Saint Germain.
When asked about interest from other clubs, he said: “Clubs can agitate, he will not move.”
French newspaper L’Equipe reported Ben Arfa’s representatives are set to meet Paris-Saint Germain’s president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, but those reports have also been dismissed.
He added: “It’s not true. We didn’t asked to see anyone. We will answer on the pitch, that‘s all. Hatem knows what to do, doesn’t give up.
“We‘ll settle at the end of the year when he will have reversed the trend. We must remain calm, faithful to his principles. Hatem keeps the force.”
