Back in the summer of 2022, many stories from the Italian media claimed that Fulham were interested in Alessio Rogmanoli.
The defender was on his way out of AC Milan at the time, and it was even claimed the Whites were ‘ready to close’ a deal to sign him.
Well, that never happened, but according to today’s report from Calciomercato, Fulham are still interested in his signing.
The outlet today highlights the ‘English sirens’ there is for the player, as some other clubs such as Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle United are now keen on his arrival.
Regarding Fulham, the website first recalls that the Whites ‘thought’ about him in the past, and says they ‘continue to monitor’ him, as he’s one of the most ‘reliable’ players around.
Now Marco Silva’s side would need to deal with Lazio, with Calciomercato making it clear that their president Claudio Lotito is difficult to negotiate with.
Convincing Romagnoli doesn’t seem such a big problem. Because even though he’s said to be focused on his season with the Serie A side, it’s claimed that he never ruled out an adventure abroad and a good offer could attract him.
