This morning, Portuguese outlet O Jogo said Bruno Martins Indi had flown to London. Although his destination was unknown, the trip reignited the rumours about a move to Liverpool or Everton.
But several English outlets started saying the player is set o join Stoke City, and Mais Futebol are now confirming the information. They say he’s expected at the club on Wednesday morning, having chased up the claims themselves.
Although Porto’s intention was to sell the player for at least €7.7m, the website says he’s signing for the Potters on a one-year loan deal. There’s no information if a buying option is included.
Martins Indi will now reunite with Gianelli Imbula, who left Porto to sign for Stoke City in January for £21m.
