Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners and Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus have ended up on Brighton & Hove Albion’s radar, according to Calciomercato.it.
The Seagulls have set their sights on the Serie A midfielder, who’s also followed by Inter Milan, Napoli and Juventus.
With regards to Brighton, it’s claimed they have carried out ‘first exploratory surveys’ to know the conditions needed to carry out a deal for the 25-year-old Dutchman.
Koopmeiners’s contract lasts until 2025, with an option for another year. Calciomercato.it say he’s valued at around €30m and the asking price could rise if there’s an auction for his signature.
Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi also likes the Ajax star, who can be deployed across multiple attacking positions. He managed 18 goals and six assists last season.
It’s claimed the Premier League side have requested information about signing the 22-year-old Ghanaian. The report states the Seagulls could launch a ‘real offensive’ in the ‘next few weeks’ to sign Kudus, as long as the conditions are right.
Having already initiated contact, De Zerbi and Brighton are planning a ‘double blitz’ to sign Koopmeiners and Kudus in the summer window.
