Two days ago, we covered claims from the Colombian press which stated Aston Villa have to sort out a few details before completing the deal for Orsomarso SC’s Yeimar Mosquera.
The Premier League side have ironed out those details if Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra is to be believed.
He claims the defender ‘will arrive’ in Birmingham in the ‘next few hours’, to carry out medical tests with Aston Villa.
The centre-back, after completing the medical, will sign a four-year deal with the Premier League side.
There’s no mention of the amount Aston Villa are paying the second division Colombian club. The journalist states they will also receive 30% of the fee from the 19-year-old’s future sale.
Mosquera had a spell at Sócrates Valenci and Sierra claims they will also benefit from his move to Villa Park.
Unai Emery is unlikely to include the Colombia U20 international in his plans this season.
Earlier claims have stated the Villans will send the youngster out on loan to lower division Spanish side Real Unión, a club owned partly by the Emery family.
Mosquera has made 20 appearances across all competitions for Orsomarso this year.
