Throughout this week we’ve brought you various updates on the Emil Krafth and his impending move to Newcastle United.

Earlier we covered a report from Soccer Link that said the player was close to completing a move and he would cost the Magpies €7m.

They’ve now updated their story and say that Krafth has already flown to England to undergo his medical and complete the move to St James Park.

The previous €7m price has now been raised to €8m, with the deal including an add on that will see Amiens receive a percentage of any future sale.

That suits the French side, who are set to make an immediate profit on a player they paid £1.8m for this summer following his successful loan spell from Bologna last season.

Krafth will arrive to provide much-needed competition to DeAndre Yedlin with the American the only recognised right-back in the Magpies squad at present.
