On July 29th. L’Equipe explained Amiens right-back Emil Krafth is on Newcastle United’s list of summer targets and two days later, reports in France suggested the Magpies ‘intended to finalise’ the signing quickly.

Soccer Link reported on Monday the defender has agreed personal terms with Newcastle.

It was also explained the Tyneside club had convinced the Ligue 1 side with a new offer, after their first proposal was turned down by Amiens.

Soccer Link brings the latest development and it should come as a positive news for supporters of the Premier League club.

It’s claimed the Sweden international is ‘close’ to joining Steve Bruce’s side and Amiens would cash in €7m from the player’s sale to Newcastle.
