Bournemouth forward Hamed Traore has held ‘new contacts’ with Napoli today and there is a growing confidence a deal for him will be done.
That’s according to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, who reports that today could be the ‘decisive day’ for the transfer to take place.
He reports that Napoli ‘accelerated’ to sign Traore on Thursday, before holding new contacts with the Bournemouth man today to try and reach a positive conclusion to the transfer.
According to his information, talks with Bournemouth are well underway and the Italian side are ‘proceeding with confidence’ that they can get their man.
Indeed, Napoli are so confident that they can reach an agreement that it could be struck at some point today and they are simply waiting for the ‘final green light’ from Bournemouth.
They’ve move to sign Traore after selling Eljif Elmas and like the 23-year-old as he can play in several positions, thus providing manager Walter Mazzarri with much-needed cover.
The journalist makes no mention of what type of deal the two sides are negotiating, but a report earlier today indicated it would be a paid loan and a formula was already in place.
Perhaps it is that which is fuelling the new confidence at Napoli, with this deal seemingly in the final stages.
