Late on Thursday, it was reported that Napoli were working hard to sign AFC Bournemouth’s Hamed Traorè on some sort of loan deal.
Agents were travelling, and Corriere dello Sport have an update on the situation on Friday in their print edition.
They explain the two clubs are discussing about a ‘paid loan’, with an ongoing dialogue in place, for a player who would fit right back into Serie A after making a name for himself in the league with Sassuolo before his move to Bournemouth.
The belief is that following the start of the talks, the ‘deal could come to fruition soon’, because ‘there is an agreement’ between the two sides on the formula, which will be a temporary deal that will cost Napoli some money.
However, they are still discussing other aspects of the potential transfer, such as the ‘definitive figures’ and the possibility of included an option to buy the Bournemouth man at the end of the season.
Off the pitch, all worries of him still having malaria have long been dismissed, allowing this transfer to take place when all is agreed.
