Sead Kolasinac has been in and out of the transfer rumour mill over the past few months and it would now appear he’s close to actually leaving Arsenal.

The defender made 32 appearances for the Gunners during the last campaign, and was clearly a very much used part of the club’s squad.

So far this season he’s made one appearance in the Premier League and another in the EFL Cup, still being used by Mikel Arteta but not a crucial part of the manager’s plans.

Kicker report Kolasinac could be on his way to Bayer Leverkusen before the window closes next Monday. The move has been rumoured for the past 24 hours or so, and the German outlet makes it sound like a transfer is closing in.

They state the ‘decision has been made’ at Bayer Leverkusen to sign the Arsenal player, and Kicker believe a transfer fee will be in the region of €10-12m.

The 27-year-old would be an ’emergency’ signing for the Bundesliga club, and the hope is he can bring some quality to their defence.
