Tottenham’s Daniel Levy is flipping between ‘sometimes annoyed, sometimes amused’ by Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Harry Kane this summer.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say Levy has remained firm in his stance regarding the England striker and is still refusing to sanction a sale.
Kane is Bayern’s number one transfer target this summer as they look to finally fill the hole left behind by Robert Lewandowski’s move to Barcelona a year ago.
There is a general agreement that Kane is the man they want and talks with Tottenham are underway to try and make the transfer a reality, with Kane believed to be keen on the move to the Bundesliga champions.
Tottenham, though, are resisting, with it even reported that Daniel Levy had been left annoyed by Bayern’s transfer tactics and their efforts to convince Kane behind his back.
SportBILD pick up on that and state the Spurs chairman is ‘sometimes annoyed, sometimes amused’ by the negotiations and ‘poker’ with Bayern so far.
However, one thing has ‘always been the same’ and that is his stance on the potential transfer, which he continues to block at every possibility.
That’s not put off Bayern in the slightest and they are ‘fighting’ to get Kane this summer so they can make him the ‘new mega-star’ of the Bundesliga next season.
Tottenham, and Levy, are refusing to let that happen so far and it remains to be seen how long Bayern keep trying, and what lengths they will go to, before they eventually give up.
