On Monday, Tutto Atalanta reported Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a late entry in the chase for Jordan James and this has made it complicated for Atalanta to secure the Birmingham City player’s services in the winter market.

Another report from Tutto Atalanta provides a fresh update and it could please Crystal Palace and Wolves’ supporters.

The Serie A side have been chasing the 19-year-old for most part of this window, but didn’t manage to convince Birmingham City so far.

La Dea are working on several operations and the report states the track leading to the Wales international is becoming ‘tortuous’, because of the Premier League duo.

It’s said the Eagles and Gary O’Neil’s side are ‘ready to meddle’ to sign the midfielder, and this could be the reason why the Birmingham City player is now moving away from the Italian club.

Last Friday, TuttoMercatoWeb reported Gian Piero Gasperini’s side aren’t willing to meet the €8m fee requested by the Blues for James.

Crystal Palace and Wolves have to rush and quickly find an agreement with Birmingham City, to get the deal over the line.

The teenager has scored six goals from 31 games this season.
