Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers have become the latest clubs to be credited with interest in Birmingham City’s Jordan James.

Atalanta have been chasing the 19-year-old for most of the winter market but are yet to agree a deal with the Blues.

On Friday, TuttoMercatoWeb stated Birmingham City want €8m for James and aren’t going to change their stance. This makes it difficult for the Serie A side to sign him.

La Dea have fresh concerns as Crystal Palace and Wolves have joined the race, as per Tutto Atalanta,

The Italian club have been negotiating with Birmingham City for a while and their failure to secure an agreement has allowed the Eagles and Gary O’Neil’s side to join the battle.

It’s said the Premier League duo are interested in the Wales international and this is an issue for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side because the deal has become ‘complicated’ for them.

Atalanta are facing a ‘race against time’ in their pursuit of the youngster and now risk one of Crystal Palace and Wolves meeting Birmingham City’s request of at least €8m.

James has six goals to his name from 31 games this season.
