On May 1st, we covered claims from Italy that Crystal Palace have made contact to sign Juventus’ Filip Kostić.

Tuttosport say Kostić, who has a contract until 2026, isn’t included in the Serie A side’s plans for next season and this could present Crystal Palace with an opportunity to sign him in the summer window.

Juve technical director Cristiano Giuntoli is working on getting rid of a few players and the 31-year-old is included in this list.

In fact, the report states the former Eintracht Frankfurt man and Moise Kean are ‘ready to pack their bags’ to leave the Turin club. When discussing the former’s suitors, Crystal Palace are mentioned.

There’s been rumours of AS Roma interest, but Tuttosport state they have no interest in him. This gives Crystal Palace a clearer route to signing Kostić.

It’s claimed the Old Lady’s intention is to earn €8-10m from the Serbian’s sale and this wouldn’t be an issue for the Eagles.

Oliver Glasner knows Kostić well from their time at Eintracht Frankfurt and the pair could reunite at Selhurst Park, if Crystal Palace were to secure his services.
