Turkish newspaper Aksam report Crystal Palace are showing an interest in Galatasaray midfielder Younes Belhanda.
Crystal Palace have also been linked with AS Roma midfielder Maxime Gonalons in recent days, but this option would be cheaper.
The Moroccan international joined Galatasaray last summer from Dynamo Kiev and played a part in the club’s title winning season.
However, Belhanda has been criticised among some Galatasaray fans and according to Aksam the club’s manager Fatih Terim is not against selling him this summer.
Aksam say Crystal Palace are ready to offer €6m to sign the 28 year old but Belhanda currently wants to stay at Galatasaray in order to play in the Champions League next season.
Despite Belhanda’s stance, Aksam say the talks will continue with Crystal Palace and Galatasaray’s board would be open happy to sell him as they need to bring in revenue because of FFP.
Belhanda recently returned to training after the World Cup, and scored a goal during Galatasaray’s recent friendly against Sakaryaspor.
The former Montpellier player made 30 appearances for Galatasaray last season, scoring 3 goals. Belhanda is under contract at the club until June 2021.
