Crystal Palace have made former Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka one of their ‘priorities’ for the summer transfer window.

That’s according to Africa Foot, who report that the 27-year-old ‘attracts the covetousness’ of Crystal Palace and the Eagles are making moves to bring him back to the Premier League.

Onyeka is currently impressing at Augsburg, where he is spending the season on loan from Brentford. He’s proven to be indispensable for them and that’s alerted Crystal Palace.

They’ve made him one of their priorities and they have been following his performance sisnce the beginning of the season. They’re now ready to go on the offensive for him. Discussions were even reportedly started with Brentford last week to find out the player’s situation.

His current contract with Brentford expires in June 2027 so this summer may be an ideal time for the Bees to move him on if he is not a part of their plans.

Crystal palace would consider offering around €12m to buy him and Onyeka has not ruled out a return to the Premier League. He wants guarantees about playing time at Crystal Palace, though.

That’s to be worked out but they’re interested in the Brentford midfielder, whose performances in Germany have earned the Eagle’s admiration.
