Lerma’s condition is yet to be determined, but the report says everything indicates he has a ‘muscle discomfort’. There should be clarity in the next few hours, after he undergoes tests.

It’s claimed Colombia coaching staff, led by manager Néstor Lorenzo, have contacted the Eagles to ‘find out the details of the problem’ that the player is currently facing.

Lerma has been a regular for Colombia and has featured in all four World Cup qualifiers so far. They face Uruguay and Ecuador during November’s international break. Caracol Radio state the Crystal Palace player’s involvement could be uncertain for these two fixtures.
