Last month, Roy Hodgson revealed Wilfried Zaha’s form in the final weeks of the season was impacted because he is “so set on leaving” Crystal Palace this summer.
It’s still not clear where the Ivory Coast international will end up next season, but his club have already started looking for his successor in the transfer market.
According to L’Equipe, Palace ‘think’ about Watford’s Ismaïla Sarr.
It’s claimed Hodgson’s side ‘have approached’ the Hornets for the Senegal international.
The 22-year-old arrived at Vicarage Road from Rennes last summer, and scored five goals and registered four assists in his debut season in England.
Watford have been relegated from the Premier League and therefore, it would be now be easier for Palace to negotiate a deal with them for Sarr.
Apart from Sarr, Palace are also negotiating for Florinel Coman, who is currently with Romanian side FCSB.
Coman’s agent Giovanni Becali has already confirmed the player has been offered to the Eagles, and the representative is awaiting a response from Palace.
Reports from Romania also explained Becali has travelled to London to hold talks with the English club.
