Despite them arriving late in the January transfer window, the signings of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have been great for Tottenham.

Fabio Paratici managed to secure the duo on different deals, with the Uruguayan secured permanently, while the Swede is on loan until the end of next year with an option to buy at €35m.

The latter was key at the weekend as Tottenham beat Aston Villa 4-0 away; a game in which he picked up a goal and an assist for Heung-min Son.

His performances in the Premier League have been surprisingly great for a player who struggled so much at Juventus, as he now counts three goals and six assists in 13 appearances for Spurs to date, which is why talk of the move being made permanent is now rife.

Calciomercato have a small update on the situation on Monday, claiming ‘patience is a virtue of the strong’, something the Turin side perhaps should have shown more of with Kulusevski.

That’s because he ‘risks becoming a big regret’, as Tottenham are ‘very happy with the Swede and plan to anticipate the purchase set at €35m at the end of the season after paying €10m for the loan’.

In fact, this comes from Antonio Conte, who is reportedly ‘pushing for this solution and could be satisfied’ by the likes of Paratici and Daniel Levy in the coming months.
