Youri Tielemans has a contract with Leicester City expiring at the end of June, 2023.
That obviously brings his future under some doubt, and if there’s no advance on a potential renewal in the coming months then it looks like a parting of the ways could be ahead for the player and his club.
Several sides have been linked in recent years, yet despite all the claims it’s not felt like any club have really advanced concretely, and that’s the case again today with Italian claims about Juventus interest.
Il Bianconero reports there was contact last summer over signing the midfielder, but Leicester City’s stance, of the player being non-transferable or ‘almost’ in that bracket, saw the Turin side walk away.
Juve interest ‘remains’ in the player but he’s not their first choice.
It’s stated Leicester could sell to the ‘highest bidder’ in the summer, and whilst Juventus aren’t rushing forward, contact is in place, and Tielemans is one of a number of options for the Serie A side.
