Georginio Wijnaldum hasn’t been a success at PSG since walking out of Liverpool on a free transfer, and the media closest to the French side won’t stop talking about the huge drop in performances compared to his days at Anfield.

PSG lost 1-0 away to Nice at the weekend, and Wijnaldum was again picked as a ‘flop’ of the match by French newspaper L’Equipe.

The newspaper have often made clear the huge contract between the Liverpool version of the Dutchman and his current state, and they say that against Nice, and whether he was acting in attack or a defensively, Wijnaldum was ‘non-existent’.

In the first half he made just nine touches, with goalkeeper Keylor Navas making twice as many. His teammates don’t look for him any longer and his confidence is so shot he’s not trying anything.

He was given 3/10 for his performance and continues to have a miserable time away from Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, who wanted to keep the midfielder.
