Bayern Munich have an interest in Sadio Mané, with reports from Germany stating they have already held talks with the Liverpool star’s representatives.
The Reds take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final at the weekend.
Mané has just over a year left on his contract and it is still not clear whether he will be at Liverpool next season.
On Wednesday, the 30-year-old refused to confirm he will continue at Anfield, which his club teammate, Mohamed Salah, has already done.
Following the Senegal international’s comments, Bild have a fresh report, stating he is the ‘top priority’ target for the Bundesliga winners.
With regards to the ex-Southampton man’s renewal, it’s said the ‘extension has been stalled for a long time’. Liverpool are focusing more on retaining Salah. Therefore, the Mané topic is ‘still hot’ at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern believe that, at the moment, ‘it looks like the transfer could work out’ for Mané. They imagine a deal could be done for €30m, while Jürgen Klopp’s side ‘should be ready to talk at around’ €50m.
Bild state Julian Nagelsmann’s side see the Liverpool star operating from a wide position, with Robert Lewandowski playing up front. This would only be possible if the Polish striker ends up staying in Germany.
If Mané is keen to leave the Reds for Bayern, the deal could start progressing following Liverpool’s Champions League final in Paris.
