As Roberto Firmino’s situation at Liverpool continues to be unpredictable, clubs keep getting interested in his signing.
The latest report on this case comes from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, who on Twitter, claims Saudi Arabian clubs are ‘still pushing’ for his signing.
There is, however, a ‘clear tendency’ at this point, which is Firmino’s contract extension with Liverpool, at least until 2025.
According to Plettenberg, the attacker would like to ‘continue at the highest level’, and could achieve that with the Reds.
Firmino’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the season, and that’s why some clubs are getting excited about the possibility of signing him.
His wish to stay with the Reds, however, has even been reported in his home country, with the Brazilian media recently claiming his priority would be to stay at Anfield.
Firmino has nine goals and four assists in 21 appearances for Liverpool this season, but with Jurgen Klopp having a lot more problems to solve right now, his renewal may not be on top of their priorities.
News #Firmino: Clubs from 🇸🇦 are still pushing but clear tendency now and at this stage: Contract extension with Liverpool! At least until 2025. He wants to continue at the highest level.
