With Flamengo working on a solution to make the signing of Chelsea winger Robert Kenedy this summer, journalist Venê Casagrande now brings some information about the strategy of the Rio de Janeiro side.
The reporter starts a new video confirming that the club continue to be interested in the player and the business is ‘moving’.
Flamengo didn’t mind that Kenedy was asked to have the pre-season with Chelsea, even though he was already in Rio, and now they expect that the player will keep rejecting all the offers that arrive for him, as he’ll claim he wants the Brazilian club.
Since the Blues have no intention of using the winger this season, it’s said there will come a time when they’ll end up giving in and letting him get the move to the Brazilian side.
Venê Casagrande also claims that Chelsea want a fee for the loan, while Flamengo want it for free. So that’s another issue that must be solved.
Flamengo vice-president Marcos Braz spoke to the Brazilian media last night, and once again, confirmed that they’re in for the transfer.
“Flamengo are trying Kenedy and Thiago Maia. We’re still waiting for Kenedy. These are two very difficult signings, let’s not fool anyone. We’ve already told the coach about this,” he said (via Coluna do Fla).
