AC Milan are continuing their efforts to sign Emerson Royal from Tottenham and working to ‘get to the heart of things’ as soon as possible.
That’s according to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, who reports that Milan ‘negotiate to the bitter end’ to try and get the Brazilian full-back this summer.
He reports that Milan are working to reinforce their squad for new manager Paulo Fonseca and the Tottenham man is the ‘right defensive winger’ that they want.
New contacts are underway between the two clubs and have become ‘increasingly insistent’ in the last few hours.
Milan are negotiating to the bitter end for the full-back, hoping to get as close as they possibly can to the figure they would like to pay for him and then conclude a deal with Tottenham quickly after that.
Negotiations are now in the ‘red-hot phase’ and while it is likely that 3-4 days are still needed for the famous Italian white smoke, the Rossoneri are pushing hard to get their man as he’s been identified as the ideal profile for Fonseca’s squad.
There’s no mention of the price that they want to pay for Emerson Royal this summer but they’re pushing to make a deal happen as soon as possible and the new negotiations are seemingly focused on making that happen.
